In the Rostov region, the volume of shipped grain increased by 14.3% in January-October 2020, in comparison with last year’s figure. Such data are provided by Rostovstat.

According to the territorial body of state statistics, according to the results of the period, this indicator in absolute terms amounted to 5.5 million tons. At the same time, the volumes of shipped vegetables increased by 14.2% (56.7 thousand tons), and sunflower showed an increase of 18.6% (820.7 thousand tons) in comparison with last year.

As RBC Rostov previously reported, in the Don region, within the framework of the regional state program «Development of Agriculture and Regulation of Agricultural Product Markets,» 44.7 billion rubles will be spent by 2030.
